Overview and gameplay loop
Make every pack member count.
Omniraptor depends on how the pack divides its roles. One member makes a short pounce while others cover escape routes, then everyone withdraws together to let bleeding apply pressure. If the formation breaks, regroup before beginning the next attack.
+Bleed and mobility
+Strong pack scaling
+Many approach angles
−Pounce consumes stamina
−Vulnerable to body slams
−Solo mistakes are difficult to recover from
Special abilities and controls
Verified against the current ability set in patch 0.21.772. Shown keys are defaults; players with custom binds should check Settings → Controls.
Combat and unique abilities
Latch onto large targets and pin targets no heavier than yourself. Two or more Omniraptors can grapple a target to the ground.
Trade stamina for direct damage while attached.
Trade stamina for bleed while attached; use A and D to change latch slots and avoid counterattacks.
Leave the target toward a safe angle before you are bucked, slammed or crushed against terrain.
Look up for a jump bite or down for a kick; use it to open an angle rather than replace pounce.
Survival and environmental interactions
Grassland makes pouncing easy but hiding hard
Forest provides cover but creates collision risk
Mud clears tracks for the entire pack
Avoid pouncing beside cliffs or rocks that trap the camera
EInteractWallow at a mud pool to reduce tracks and scent for a while.
QScentScent while standing still to read water, diet, carcasses, tracks and distant zones.
GCarcass interactionCorpse handling: tap to tear off a chunk; hold to drag or carry it when mass allows.
HRestRest / safe logout: rest out of sight; never lie on a trail or directly between others and water.
All basic controls +
Use SHIFT to sprint and Z to switch trot or walk for tighter turns.
Hold longer for greater range; tap Q to open the compass.
Eat, drink, wallow, use nests and interact with resources.
Tap to tear off a chunk; hold to drag or carry a valid object.
Rest for faster recovery; hold H to sleep and log out safely.

Broadcast · friendly · threaten · help. Loud calls reveal your position.
Use N to pair or place a nest; B builds a mound nest for supported species.
Damage by ability
Actual damage also depends on mass, hitbox, attack direction, bleed and server balance. The table separates fixed values from scaling abilities to avoid treating community figures as absolute damage.
Community reference for Bite; actual results still vary with mass, hitbox and server balance.
Pounce — damage scales with target state, mass, speed or contact conditions; use the listed value as a reference rather than guaranteed damage.
Pounce — bleed scales with target state, mass, speed or contact conditions; use the listed value as a reference rather than guaranteed damage.
Recommended mutations
This list is the species-wide foundation. After choosing a build below, follow its dedicated loadout order instead of keeping the general priority.
Increases damage against bleeding targets.
Improves stamina uptime for repeated movement and ability rotations.
Reduces the risk of losing bleed trades.
Improves finishing pressure against low-health prey.
Two builds & detailed guides
Choose the role you want to play in this life. These are EFG tactical recommendations, not universal meta builds for every matchup.
Bleed pack
Bring down heavier prey.
Rotate pounces and stop when the pack no longer has a member with enough stamina to cover the disengage.
Choose in order from 01 → 04
Prioritize the first mutation in the list. If it is unavailable or slot-limited, use the next option and check again at the next milestone.
Increases damage against bleeding targets.
Lowers the stamina-regeneration threshold and requires an activity unlock.
UNLOCK REQUIRED · Slot 2 or 3Improves bleed resistance during trades or pack pressure.
Speeds up health regeneration and reduces downtime.
TACTICAL GAMEPLAY LOOP
Eat AI and do not follow calls from an unknown pack.
Assign roles → one raptor pounces briefly → two cover the escape → everyone disengages for bleed ticks → repeat.
Rotate pounces and stop when the pack no longer has a member with enough stamina to cover the disengage.
CONDITIONS FOR THIS BUILD
↗Grassland makes pouncing easy but hiding hard
↗Forest provides cover but creates collision risk
+The pack has enough members to rotate pounces and sustain bleed.
+Strong pack scaling
−Pounce consumes stamina
−Vulnerable to body slams
NOTE: A build guides decisions; it does not replace reading hitboxes, stamina, team numbers and server-specific settings.
Solo scout
Find food and avoid fights alone.
Take only short fights with nearby cover; abandon the target if line of sight cannot be broken after the first exchange.
Choose in order from 01 → 04
Prioritize the first mutation in the list. If it is unavailable or slot-limited, use the next option and check again at the next milestone.
Makes tracks fade faster to help break pursuit.
Slows hydration drain.
Slows food drain for longer survival routes.
Speeds up health regeneration and reduces downtime.
TACTICAL GAMEPLAY LOOP
Complete the diet and practice pouncing small targets.
Assign roles → one raptor pounces briefly → two cover the escape → everyone disengages for bleed ticks → repeat.
Take only short fights with nearby cover; abandon the target if line of sight cannot be broken after the first exchange.
CONDITIONS FOR THIS BUILD
↗Mud clears tracks for the entire pack
↗Avoid pouncing beside cliffs or rocks that trap the camera
+You travel alone and deliberately avoid extended fights.
+Bleed and mobility
−Vulnerable to body slams
−Solo mistakes are difficult to recover from

Mutation names, unlock conditions and effects may change with hotfixes. EFG prioritizes developer data; unclear items are treated as community recommendations and should be verified against the in-game description.
Growth time, mass and diet
Omniraptor from 0% to 100%
Before Adult: one nutrient gives 100% growth speed, two give 200%, and all three give 300%. Diet does not speed up Elder ageing at 75–100%. The table assumes a 1× server.
Carno, Diablo, Troodon, Deer, Rabbit
Boar, Herrera, Pachy, Cera
Dryo, Psittacosaurus, Galli, Stego
Maintain α, β and γ together for 300% Growth. Each bar only needs a remaining value; when one reaches zero, speed immediately drops to the corresponding tier.
AI spawns by region and player/server density; spawn descriptions refer to habitat types, not guaranteed coordinates.
Brown body, long legs and antlers; larger than a goat and often runs in long bursts.
Land AI favoring forest edges, grassland and active player corridors; it has no guaranteed fixed coordinate.Low, thick and dark brown; it charges straight when startled and disappears easily in bushes.
Land AI found in forest, forest edge and grassland; density depends on player and server activity.Extremely small with long ears and short bursts of speed; difficult to see in tall grass.
Grassland and forest edges; it is often noticed only after it starts running.A small bipedal dinosaur with a beaked head; low to the ground and fast.
Land AI near bushes, forest edges and active players; use its call to find direction.Prime stats for Omniraptor

Omniraptor is a name used by The Isle, not a dinosaur genus broadly recognized in paleontology.

Deinonychus: a comparison for Omniraptor
Fred Wierum’s reconstruction of Deinonychus. Omniraptor is an in-game name; this image offers a comparison with a real dromaeosaur genus, not a scientific reconstruction of Omniraptor.

The skeleton of a real genus
Deinonychus antirrhopus mount at the Hong Kong Science Museum. This is a dromaeosaur comparison, not an Omniraptor skeleton or confirmation of the playable's size.

The foot and curved claw
Cast of the left hind foot of Deinonychus, holotype YPM 5205, restored by John Ostrom. It illustrates comparative anatomy; Omniraptor pounce and bleed remain game mechanics.
Its design evokes dromaeosaurs: feathered theropods with stiff tails and large curved foot claws.
Pounce, grapple and bleed make it more dependent on pack coordination than individual power.
