Choose for the experience you want

Decide whether you want to learn, fight or play with friends, then choose a server serving that goal. A large population or familiar name does not replace reading the rules.

Check the game branch

Compare the server name, game branch and required version. Legacy, Evrima public and test branches may differ. If a server is missing, check filters and joining requirements before changing multiple settings.

Read rules that affect your play

Open the rules published by the server itself and keep the link for later reference. Identically named rules may have different definitions.

  • Group limits and mixed-species rules.
  • Hunting, carcass ownership, body-down and combat-ending rules.
  • Special areas, restart times and reporting procedures.

Try a short session first

Join at your normal play time to observe stability and activity. Menu ping does not guarantee the whole session. For group play, confirm everyone can find the same server before investing in characters.

Evaluate the community through concrete information

Look for clear rules, active announcements and an understandable support process. EFG’s directory helps discovery and does not guarantee moderation or safety. Check each community’s current links and announcements.

Sources and scope

Tactical decisions and checklists are EFG editorial suggestions. The references below provide mechanic guidance or update announcements; community sources may lag behind the game. Check the branch, version and server rules when information differs.
